Group call #31180, better known as Indiana TAC (or IN-TAC), is a talkgroup dedicated to the state of Indiana, designed for moving extended QSO's (longer than 10-15 minutes), off of wide area resources, like Indiana Statewide. It can also be utilized, if needed, as a secondary, wide-area resource for coordinating emergency operations. It is recommended that 31180, if utilized on your local repeater, be used on timeslot 1, so as not to interfere with Indiana Statewide 3118, or other wide area talkgroups dynamically assigned to timeslot 2.
