You have to configure APRS interval setting at the self-care to enable timed location update: APRS-Settings.jpg

Connectivity on firmware 2.6+

Since firmware version 2.5 Hytera fully changed protocol stack used to connect RoIP. We added support of new protocol at BrandMeister Core 20190919. If you are using firmware 2.5+ please make sure that the master you connecting to has proper version and configured to accept new type of connections. BrandMeister support both connection protocols for versions pre 2.5 and 2.5+ as two separate implementations of protocol stack. Usually both used the same connection port.

Firmware 2.6 has bug which prevent a device from connection when hostname configured as end-point for PoIP. In case of firmware 2.6 please use numerical IP address instead.
